Introduction to Yoga for Writers

This course is designed to help you develop as a writer and yogi. You will explore your potential in a way that is safe, joyful and relaxing as you master a sequence designed to prepare you physically and mentally for writing. It will help you to maintain a healthy and relaxed seated posture and you’ll learn how to access and channel inspiration while developing the discipline required to write for long enough to improve your technical abilities. Find out how to write with less fear and experience a more flowing practice.

SESSION 1: Introducing yoga for writers

You’ll start to develop a yoga and writing practice that suits your individual needs and pushes you a little – but which you’re confident you can stick to.

SESSION 3: Exploring your boundaries
You’ll look at your boundaries – in both your yoga and writing – and find ways to challenge yourself and to grow.

SESSION 4: Living yoga-writing
You’ll reflect on your experience of the course and look forward to your new yoga-writing life.
