Edit Your Novel was probably more useful to me than my PhD in Creative Writing, for its practical, professional advice and the sense of community with others on the course. Although it was conducted online, I never felt it was impersonal – on the contrary, the feedback was rigorous but kindly, which was very encouraging. I’ve kept all the files and still use them.
