Anna Veprinska

Anna Veprinska is a poet, researcher and educator.

She holds a PhD in English from York University, specialising in poetry after trauma. She has published the full-length collection of poetry, Sew with Butterflies, and the chapbook, Spirit-clenched. She is also the author of the monograph Empathy in Contemporary Poetry after Crisis, which received Honourable Mention in the Memory Studies Association First Book Award.

She has taught at York University, Seneca College, and the Poetry School.
