Some time ago I realised it was all very well to have a story to tell but I had to learn how to write it. Anyone who has ever taken a PWA course will know it as a safe and creative platform to develop the skills we need to hone our craft.

‘Finish Your Draft’ is malleable enough to suit everyone. Post a little or post a lot. Each month offers new guidance. Illuminating exercises focus on understanding and acquiring literary tools and techniques. Lightbulb moments, learning through giving and receiving feedback, laughing and empathising with course mates, gaining confidence, mentoring from our excellent tutor, coordinated by our lovely moderator, this course is a year of handholding for all of us who hope to send our novels into the world.
